HIV & AIDs

We need to preserve our elderly by protecting and promoting their well being. The old are the untapped gold in our communities, they are the keepers of knowledge and life experience, they are the protectors of our homes when we the youth are away making ends meet and exploring the universe. Our programs protect and preserve the elderly for us.

We provide programs to promote well-being, social engagement, and overall quality of life. Here are some programs;
1. Technology Workshops:
We provide workshops on basic computer skills, internet usage, and smartphone applications. We teach them how to connect with family and friends through social media or video calls.
2. Arts and Crafts Sessions:
We host arts and crafts classes where seniors can engage in creative activities like painting, pottery, or knitting. We encourage them to showcase their creations in a community art exhibition.
3. Book Clubs
We started book clubs where seniors can gather to discuss and share their thoughts on various books. We provide a comfortable space for reading and socializing.
4. Cooking Classes
Organize cooking classes focusing on traditional foods. We encourage social interaction during meal preparation and shared meals.
5. Music and Memory Programs
We offer music therapy sessions or musical events, which can have positive effects on mood and memory. We created choirs and musical groups within communities.
6. Educational Workshops
We host informational sessions on topics relevant to seniors, such as financial planning, health, and legal matters. We invite guest speakers or professionals in the fields from which the topics originate.
7. Volunteer Opportunities
We offer and facilitate volunteer programs where seniors can contribute their skills and experience to the community. This includes; mentoring programs, reading to children, or participating in local events.
8. Outdoor Activities
We carry out planned outings and day trips to local parks, museums, or cultural events. We organize walking groups or nature walks to promote physical activity.
9. Memory Cafés
We are in the process of establishing a memory café where individuals with memory loss and their caregivers can socialize in a supportive environment.
10. Inter-generational Programs
We organize and foster connections between seniors and younger generations through joint activities, like mentoring or shared learning experiences.
